Aethir Yield Pass Vault Expiry: Next Steps
5 Days Left Til Vault Expiry – Take Action Now
The first Aethir Yield Pass Vault is set to expire in just 5 days, marking an important transition for Aethir node owners or early users of NodeFi Yield Pass.
If you’ve deposited your Checker node on NodeFi Yield Pass, you need to withdraw or redeposit your node for 2 reasons:
1) Nodes are no longer earning ATH emissions
2) If you forget to repay your loan, you will default and lose your node
Recommended: Withdraw in the first week to avoid these issues.
Withdrawal and Yield Pass Claiming Process
Withdrawing and claiming your nodes and rewards from Yield Pass can be broken down to the following steps:
Step 1 - Remove your position from the Liquidity Pool
Your Yield Pass token ($YP) and $ATH balances may have changed due to normal LP fluctuations. If you have more ATH than you originally deposited, you can move to the next step. If you have less than the amount needed to repay your loan, you may need to swap $YP for ATH on the MetaStreet App or purchase $ATH on a decentralized exchange (DEX). Navigate here to begin the Withdrawal process.
Step 2 - Repay the 3,000 ATH loan
Using the $ATH from Step 1, you can now repay your outstanding loans to receive your Discount Pass Token (DP). This DP Token, as a reminder, will be used to withdraw your node in Step 3.
Step 3 - Withdraw your Node (+ Redeposit into new vault)
Withdraw (or redeem) your node, which will give you full control of your node. At this point, you can either operate the node on your own or you can redeposit your node into the next $ATH vault for another 90 days. Future vaults will support automatic rollovers, so some of these manual steps will no longer be necessary.
Step 4 - Claiming Your ATH Emissions (Begins on August 13)
The first claim window will be on August 13 with 24.8M in $ATH available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can see the full calendar at the bottom of the Claims page or clicking here.
Note that the vesting schedule here shows the $ATH that is being claimed and vested by the ENTIRE pool and when those $ATH claims will be available to individuals. All claims are made in full, so if you cannot make a claim due to the lack of $ATH available in the pool, you will need to wait until a future date. All claims are first-come, first serve.
Quarterly Bonus for Aethir Holders
Aethir has already distributed the quarterly emissions bonus to all node owners, so go to the Aethir dashboard https://app.aethir.com/dashboard to claim.
If you were a purchaser of $YP, Aethir will be distributing the appropriate veATH to your wallets shortly (timing TBD). You can check the Aethir dashboard for updates https://app.aethir.com/dashboard

With just less than a week left, make sure you:
- Remove LP
- Repay Loans
- Withdraw/Redeem Node (optional Redeposit Node into next vault)
- Claim $ATH emissions starting August 13
