How to Get Mission Ready

To embark on this space adventure, players need to follow a few simple steps:

  1. Fund Your Wallet: Ensure your wallet is funded with a bit of Base ETH to cover transactions. The first time you play, you will have to complete 5 transactions, then only 2 transactions after that.
  2. Mint a Rocket: Begin your journey by minting a rocket for Mitch. This step simulates minting an NFT, which can later be used as collateral for an NFT loan on MetaStreet. Prepare your Launchpad by pre-approving the NFT to be used for the loan.
  3. Mint Fuel: No rocket can launch without fuel! Prepare your container by minting the ERC-20 $FUEL aka the pool currency. This process mirrors the experience of borrowing a specific ERC-20 and then having to repay a loan with the same currency + interest. Prepare your Fuel by pre-approving $FUEL to be used to repay the loan.

Each of these steps is designed to reflect the unique contracts and processes on MetaStreet:

  1. Minting the Rocket: minting an NFT that serves as collateral for loans.
  2. Minting the Container: minting an ERC-20 that serves as the borrow/repay currency.
  3. Prepare Launchpad: approving an NFT for borrowing purposes.
  4. Prepare Fuel: approving ERC tokens for loan repayment.
  5. Load Fuel: starting the loan.
  6. Triggering Launch: repaying the loan at the right moment.
